We want this to be clear and fair. This policy applies to purchases made through unshaped.shop.
Return rules summary
Physical books can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Customers are responsible for return shipping for change-of-mind returns.
There is no restocking fee.
Digital products are final sale once access has started.
Physical books
Physical books may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
To start a return, email us at hi.unshaped@gmail.com with your order number and the email address used at checkout. Please do not send anything back before your return has been approved. We will send return instructions after reviewing your request.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot refund a return that does not arrive.
To be eligible for a full refund, the book must be returned in good condition. If the book has been written in, marked, stained, torn, damaged, or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we may reduce the refund where permitted by law.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
UK cancellation rights for physical products
If you are a UK customer buying online, you have the right to cancel most physical goods orders within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. After telling us you want to cancel, you then have another 14 days to return the item.
Where this legal cancellation right applies, we will refund the product price and the standard delivery cost you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, only the standard delivery cost will be refunded.
You are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, or unless we have agreed otherwise.
Damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect books
If your book arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or not as described, email us at hi.unshaped@gmail.com as soon as possible with:
Your order number
The email address used at checkout
Clear photos of the issue
Clear photos of the packaging, if the package was damaged in transit
We may need these photos to review the issue with our print and fulfilment partner.
If the issue is confirmed, we will arrange an appropriate solution. This may be a replacement, refund, or another remedy depending on the situation.
You will not be responsible for return shipping where the issue is our fault or the result of a confirmed print, fulfilment, or delivery defect.
Print-on-demand fulfilment
Physical books are printed on demand. This means each book is manufactured after the order is placed.
Because production can begin shortly after checkout, cancellations or address changes may not be possible once an order has entered fulfilment. If you notice a mistake in your order details or shipping address, contact us immediately at hi.unshaped@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee changes after checkout, but we will help where possible.
Digital products
Digital products include downloadable guides, PDFs, lists, journals, workbooks, and other digital materials.
Digital products are final sale once access has started, including when a download link has been provided, a file has been downloaded, or digital access has otherwise been made available.
If you have trouble accessing a digital product you purchased, email us at hi.unshaped@gmail.com with your order number and the email address used at checkout.
This does not affect your legal rights if digital content is faulty, not as described, or not supplied.
For digital products supplied immediately, customers must agree to immediate access and acknowledge that they may lose the 14-day right to cancel once access begins.
Orders containing both physical and digital products
If your order includes both a physical book and a digital product, each product is handled according to its own policy.
The physical book may be eligible for return under the physical book policy.
The digital product is final sale once access has started.
Lost, delayed, or returned packages
If your order is delayed, marked as delivered but not received, lost in transit, or returned to sender, email us at hi.unshaped@gmail.com with your order number.
We will review the issue using the order details, fulfilment status, tracking information, and the circumstances of the delivery.
We are not responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information entered at checkout, but we will help review the available options.
Refund timing
Once a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.
Your bank, card provider, or payment provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, not supplied, or not as described, your legal rights remain in place.
